TIMES - SOS Cesena: the Unified Portal for Emergency Management
A multi-channel emergency alert system has been developed to support citizens before, during, and after emergencies. Combining digital tools (e.g., social media, QR codes) with traditional methods (e.g., sirens, printed materials), it ensures inclusive communication. A centralised platform coordinates responses among Civil Protection, local authorities, and volunteers. The system enhances preparedness through simulations and training, supports real-time coordination during crises, and provides post-event recovery services—including psychological aid and feedback collection—to build long-term community resilience.
