The RESOLVD project focuses on improving the efficiency and safety of low voltage (LV) grids with a high share of renewable energy sources, such as photovoltaic power. It aims to gather data about the grid through an integrated approach that combines new and legacy components, and to develop a Distribution Management System (DMS) and other applications and subsystems that can react to specific situations. It is expected to offer a more efficient and safe operation of LV grids with a high share of renewable generation.

The framework in this report can provide directions along the path toward the development of Adaptive Social Protection in advance of shocks materializing in the future. In this subtask on maladaptation, we aim to support regional stakeholders and communities in identifying and avoiding maladaptation risks.

This briefing paper provides an initial analysis of selected measures proposed by Germany, France, Italy and Poland in their respective Recovery and Resilience Plans (RRPs), and focuses on the areas of competitiveness, business environment /entrepreneurship, and (re)industrialisation. As the analysis has shown, targets and milestones set for the majority of the analysed measures seem to be realistic and enhance the probability of completing the planned projects on time; they are also tailored to the needs of specific EU MS.

The paper investigates how digital challenges have been addressed in the national Recovery and Resilience Plans (RRPs) issued by Member States (MSs). To do so, reforms and investments across 5 different areas have been analysed, namely, connectivity, digitalisation of the public administration (PA), artificial intelligence (AI) and Industry 4.0, digital skills and cybersecurity. The distribution of resources across these areas and the state of implementation were also analysed by referring to milestones and targets, in order to understand the current state of the art of the digital pillar of the Recovery and Resilience Facility (RRF) and bring to light possible challenges.

This paper delves into the National Recovery and Resilience Plans (NRRPs) concerning Pillar 6 – next generation, children, and youth, concentrating on early childhood education and care, and youth employment support from a gender equality standpoint. The analysis evaluates the relevance and sufficiency of reforms and investments in these domains from a gender perspective in eight selected countries: Belgium, Croatia, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Poland, and Spain. These countries symbolize the spectrum of gender policy regimes within the EU27. The paper offers a baseline overview of the situation related to these domains across the EU and a detailed assessment of the measures proposed in the NRRPs of the eight states.
