The SURE-Farm project aims to develop a resilience-enabling environment for European farming systems. It focuses on integrating institutional and socio-economic principles to foster resilience and address challenges faced by farming and food systems. The project attempts to develop 6 key principles for a resilience-enabling environment, which include strategies for coping with shocks, building anticipatory and responsive capacities, fostering diversity of responses, and conducting in-depth analysis of root causes and vulnerabilities. These principles are essential for ensuring the long-term sustainability and adaptability of EU farming systems. 

The SURE-Farm project aims to enhance the resilience of Europe's farming systems. It critically analyzes current policies and their impact on European agriculture, providing recommendations for improvements, including the reform of the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) post-2020. It includes a policy brief that emphasizes the need for tailored policy mixes to address the diverse resilience needs of farming systems and advocates for a shift towards policies that support adaptability and transformability, ultimately contributing to a more robust and sustainable agricultural sector in Europe.

This summary note compiles and summarizes a survey filled by 18 G20 countries in order to share experiences, build knowledge and inform policies on the agricultural impacts, resilience of the sector, and risk management responses of G20 members to the COVID-19 pandemic. The survey aimed to collect insights on the specific challenges faced by G20 members and guest countries in relation to COVID-19, as well as their respective policy responses, and to conduct an early assessment of policies’ effectiveness.

SuWaNu Europe project aims to promote the efficient exchange of knowledge, experience, and skills among practitioners and stakeholders regarding the use of regenerated water in agriculture. It seeks to overcome identified challenges and barriers and facilitate the use of innovative technologies and organizational solutions. The project's outcome is a set of policy briefs that provide guidelines for future implementation of circular economy initiatives and water reuse practices in Europe.

The Nordic thematic group for innovative and resilient regions 2017-2020 (TG2) aims to bolster regional resilience in the Nordic areas, focusing on innovation and entrepreneurship. Coordinated by Nordregio, they concentrate on four themes: Nordic regional resilience, smart specialisation, digital transitions, and skill development for resilience. Their work aligns with the 2030 vision of transforming the Nordic region into the world's most sustainable and integrated area, emphasizing green transitions and digitalization. Gaia Consulting's study further supports TG2 by contextualizing these themes in a broader regional framework.

The World Economic Forum highlighted cyber threats as significant risks, especially for the financial sector. As financial services evolve, more potential cyberattack targets emerge. Financial Technology (FinTech) companies, vital for innovation, grapple with consistent cybersecurity standards due to the myriad of existing frameworks. The FinTech Cybersecurity Consortium, established in 2018, aims to clarify and streamline these standards, advocating for foundational cybersecurity controls across all FinTechs without introducing a new standard. FinTechs face the challenge of prioritizing and demonstrating robust cybersecurity with limited resources.

The Policy Brief provides recommendations for business and management schools on the implementation and monitoring of Gender Equality Plans

This is a summary of the key ingredients of evidence based teaching approaches and interventions that are effective in building resilience to extremism among young people. It also details support factors in schools and other education settings that maximise the benefits and impact of such interventions. 

This thematic study reviews the available information on the contribution of biodiversity for food and agriculture (BFA) to the resilience of crop, livestock, forest, fishery and aquaculture production systems to environmental change and uncertainty. It summarizes evidence that links BFA at genetic, species and landscape levels to the resilience of production systems; it discusses the contributions of BFA-based resilience-strengthening strategies to livelihoods, food security and nutrition; and identifies strategies for using BFA to enhance resilience.

The Dutch NRRP includes 21 reforms and 28 investments divided into six components. t is one of the most ambitious among the Member States of EU as regards the share of investment devoted to the green transition and digital transformation. 

The COVID-19 pandemic has highlighted the need for resilient health systems worldwide. This report aims to provide a framework for health and social care preparedness beyond the current crisis. Key components include identifying resilient health system elements, strengthening capacity, ensuring care for vulnerable groups, and implementing "resilience tests" for health systems. Recommendations emphasize workforce training, R&D evaluations, combating disinformation, tech integration in care, emphasizing primary and mental health care, and data sharing. The European Commission is advised to invest in comprehensive health system resilience tests and promote learning communities among Member States.

This report assesses pollination risk in private sector supply chains. Of 27 studied companies, public disclosures showed limited action on pollination risks. Yet, some companies recognize its operational, regulatory, and marketing implications and are exploring pollinator-friendly farming. Key challenges include understanding crop vulnerabilities and establishing a compelling business case. Recommendations include building a stronger business case, enhancing knowledge on crop vulnerabilities, and integrating pollinator-friendly standards. 

The present work describes the state of art of the experience made by the Province of Potenza (an Italian local authority of subnational level) in accomplishing the recent UN global agreements goals and targets. In particular it illustrates the progresses made in implementing locally the #weResilient strategy, a risk-informed sustainable development policy-making action at territorial/local levels based on a structural combination of environmental sustainability, territorial safety and climate change contrasting policies.

Based on the Commission assessments of national Recovery and Resilience Plans, this paper provides an overview of two specific dimensions of such analysis - the governance and control structures set up at national level for implementation of the national plans. The briefing summarises in an annex the relevant references in the Commission documents. It also presents, in the introduction, a high level analysis of some related elements of the national plans, as assessed by the Commission and related reports and initiatives. It also refers to the relevant legal framework in the Recovery and Resilience Facility Regulation.
