The iManageCancer project will provide a cancer disease self-management platform designed accordingly to the specific needs of patients. The platform will focus on the wellbeing of the cancer patient with a special emphasis on their psycho-emotional condition. This deliverable will define scenarios and corresponding use cases for the iManageCancer platform. It describes the evolution of this scenarios and use cases and in addition comments on the legal and ethical aspects.

The Crossborder Crises Neoportulan (C2N) is an evolving, multi-stakeholder/multi-level, participatory tool designed to increase the resilience of key players in the cross-border territory of the Strasbourg-Kehl conurbation. This tool is intended to be sustainable and to ensure the construction of alternative and common narratives (in French, German and English) in relation to extreme events likely to cause major crises on the scale of the whole region. In its initial phase, the C2N focuses on the fields of mobility, energy and water, but is likely to evolve in thematic terms over time. The C2N is based on narratives that can take different forms (texts, podcasts, mini-films, comics, etc.). These narratives are intended to be shared between the members of the community involved (see below) and to serve as a basis for reflection, exchange and cooperation on either side of the Rhine between actors of different kinds.

This deliverable reports the Multi-cultural Communication Guidelines, which aim at improving security operators and first responders’ situational awareness and intercultural competences in all phases of an emergency.

This report outlines an action plan to bolster the adoption of resilience measures for properties at high flood risk in UK, complementing the broader National Flood Resilience Review. It advocates for refining building regulations, utilizing Flood Re to build an evidence base, establishing rigorous standards with certification, creating an online information portal for flood resilience, and fostering partnerships between various stakeholders to promote flood resilience. The plan has already resulted in tangible outcomes, including the initiation of an advice web portal.

The purpose of this exchange of experience and common analysis of the state of the art is to organize & document the implementation of the In-Business Growth (IBG) project, provide solid background for the good practice guide and the innovative approach in Action 2, and ensure the necessary linkages to the transfer roadmaps to the partner institutions & third parties planned for Action 3 of the project.

The IN-PREP project aims at improving inter-organisational response capacity in complex environments of disasters and crises. It provides a Handbook on Cross-Organisational Preparedness and Response Operations, which brings together lessons learned and good practices in enhancing cross-organisational collaboration. The Handbook is organized according to three main user groups: policy and decision makers, first responders, and the public. It is envisaged to become a central reference document for civil protection related interoperability aspects in Europe and should be continuously updated to allow for the integration of additional good practice.

Through training programmes, exercises, and demonstrations, the project seeks to improve collaboration and preparedness among various stakeholders. It attempts to provide valuable insights and findings from these activities, which are compiled in the Knowledge Capitalisation Report to inform policy and operational recommendations for future crisis response efforts.

The IN-PREP project aims to identify success and failure factors in transboundary crisis management, including the technologies used. The project analyzes five managerial tasks shared among responders, including situation assessment, decision making, co-operation, command and control, supply of basic services, and communication with the public. The ultimate goal is to develop a Mixed-Reality Preparedness Platform (MRPP) and a handbook to guide collaboration in inter-organizational and transboundary crisis situations.

This report presents the findings of a study which helps to fill the gap in knowledge relating to climate change and the waste sector, specifically by exploring the impacts of climate change on the waste sector and the potential for adaptation.

"InDICEs," a Horizon 2020 research project, presents policy recommendations aimed at assisting Cultural Heritage Institutions (CHIs) in navigating the digital realm. The document emphasizes a community-focused digital transformation, supporting access to and reusability of digital cultural heritage. It addresses key stakeholders, including policymakers, heritage networks, CHIs, and Cultural and Creative Industries professionals. The recommendations focus on democratizing digital transformation, fostering collaboration, rethinking digitization approaches, and establishing ethical frameworks.

This report has four main objectives: first the methodology, development and testing of the INDIMO Service Evaluation Tool (SET) is explained, followed by a section of recommendations for a more inclusive and accessible digital transport system, a third section proposes policy recommendations for advocating universal design at three policy levels: local, national, and European. Lastly, we propose a theoretical and practical approach to nudging users towards digital mobility services.

Policy recommendations occupy a rather unusual place in ReROOT. The project is not aiming to produce high-level substantive policy recommendations for national governments and EY policy makers to formulate measures for handling
migration and advance integration of newcomers. Instead it tries to empower
arrival processes, prompt local multiactor collaborations towards integration
and bring in local and regional policy makers to asses the potential of these
‘integration coalitions’, inviting them to enhance the opportunity structures for
these to prosper.
