This document outlines the collaborative efforts of SUMP-PLUS with various cities to co-design, develop, and implement tools facilitating the transition to sustainable mobility. Focusing on small and medium-sized cities facing resource constraints, the tools address challenges in governance, engagement, long-term planning for net-zero carbon, sector collaboration, and implementation. The deliverable introduces 14 tools grouped into governance and engagement, transition pathways, cross-sector engagement, and implementation categories. It highlights the innovative aspects of each tool and discusses their application, aiming to empower smaller cities in building internal resources and simplifying methodologies for comprehensive Sustainable Urban Mobility Planning (SUMP).

The CLARA project aims to develop and provide climate services to support decision-making in various sectors. It focuses on developing business models for climate services and identifying barriers and opportunities for their implementation. The project attempts to provide a set of user-friendly and reliable climate services that can help users make informed decisions and adapt to climate change.

The CLARA project aims to establish fifteen climate services, and provides an assessment of the value added generated from their deployment. It monitors the technical progress/development of the Climate Services, which are co-generated within the CLARA project. The methodologies applied are different and depend upon the intrinsic characteristics of the services. The project attempts to provide valuable insights into the economic impact of CLARA services for the end-users.

This document presents an Inspirational Package aimed at enhancing students' and teachers' understanding of the significance of urban trees and forests for wellbeing. The focus is on fostering a connection to nature, developing skills for responsible action in urban environments, and bringing nature to life in the city. Geared towards teachers with limited outdoor teaching experience, the material provides manageable activities with minimal planning. Emphasizing the interconnectedness of urban forests and human health, it addresses biodiversity, city livability, and climate change impacts. The material is flexible, allowing adaptation to diverse conditions, with open-ended options for tree species and seasonal considerations. Additionally, there's a student section for independent engagement, making it adaptable for extracurricular activities or integration into different subjects.

This document of the CLEARING HOUSE project, provides comprehensive guidance for local co-design and co-learning workshops, including stakeholder analysis, to mobilise urban forests as nature-based solutions (UF-NBS) in China and Europe. The goal is to facilitate a collaborative learning process involving policymakers, businesses, citizens, and experts. The document outlines the UF-NBS definition, project overview, and emphasizes the importance of stakeholder engagement. It then presents the methodology and implementation of co-design and co-learning workshops, addressing objectives, processes, and target stakeholders. The guidance is structured to be adaptable across diverse contexts, allowing flexibility for different cities, curricula, and conditions.

The multifunctional character of nature-based solutions (NBS) enables them to provide responses to both social and environmental challenges. Analysis has shown that there is significant potential for NBS to help
achieve sustainable urban development objectives. Nonetheless, challenges for mainstreaming NBS remain. While some of these can be addressed at the local level, others need to be addressed at the national and/or EU level with strong support from the international level.

The CLEVER Regional Solutions Catalogue seeks to elevate the role of nature-based solutions (NbS) across the urban landscape. It aims to inspire uptake
and continued energy for implementing nature-based solutions that meet the varied needs and requirements of modern cities. Conceptualised as a compilation of good practice examples, this catalogue is a resource specifically developed for city officials and local government staff, with a particular focus on China, Latin America and South Eastern Europe. It illustrates the various benefits that urban NbS interventions can generate for the environment, society and economy. This is coupled with a showcase of different mechanisms and enablers that cities can learn from and transfer into their own NbS projects. These span areas such as impact monitoring, policy design, stakeholder engagement and access to finance.

This study reviewed the availability of resource materials that can support infrastructure project developers to take into account climate change adaptation. It provides an overall stock-taking of available resources that contribute to the preparedness of all Member States with regards to applying the climate change requirements of the European Structural and Investment Funds programming period 2014-2020. Finally, it identifies some of the ongoing good practices of Member States in adapting to climate change.

Electricity systems worldwide are impacted by climate change, affecting generation, transmission, distribution, and demand. This report offers insights and step-by-step measures to enhance the climate resilience of these systems.

This publication aids in climate risk screening for agricultural projects, considering exposure, hazards, vulnerabilities, and adaptive capacities. It provides recommendations for addressing these risks early in the investment cycle.

The goal of this handbook is to promote climate-resilient infrastructure to public-private partnerships (PPP) practitioners, ensuring that new and existing projects account for physical climate risks, are able to adapt to future climate, socio-economic and technological change scenarios, and harness the potential of Nature-based Solutions (NBS) across the infrastructure lifecycle.

In the ClimeFish project, guidelines for creating Climate Adaptation Plans (CAPs) for fisheries and aquaculture were developed over the course of 4 years. The final version of the guidelines was based on lessons learned from making CAPs in seven different case studies within freshwater and marine fisheries and aquaculture sectors, with high stakeholder involvement.

Following the instructions received from the European Commission, this synthesis document outlines CLISEL’s major results, the lessons learnt from the interactions with different actors and the challenges that need to be addressed. Finally, it elaborates a specific set of recommendations for action at three different levels (local, national and European) by involving the key stakeholders of our project: local authorities, academia and policy-makers. 

The CO3 Project, focused on disruptive technologies like Augmented Reality and Blockchain for co-producing public services, encountered challenges and evolved during its implementation. This policy brief discusses the Co-Production and Co-Management phases, offering recommendations based on evaluation data. The document explores the CO3 model's Augmented Commoning Area (ACA), digital technologies in urban contexts, and the processes of co-production. It emphasizes the impact of disruptive technologies on citizen-government relationships and provides insights into where disruptive technologies make a difference in public service provision.

Released in February 2020, this policy brief from the CO3 Project explores the application of co-design methodology during its initial phase. Focused on integrating disruptive technologies, the document delves into the evolving relationship between participatory design and public service innovation. It outlines the CO3 project's field of action, introduces co-design as a methodology, and highlights relevant cases. The brief shares activities and results from the project's first year, offering key lessons on benefits and risks. It concludes with policy implications to leverage design-oriented innovation through participatory approaches.

This policy brief from the CO3 Project, released as the second installment, delves into the implementation of disruptive technologies within the CO3 project framework. It provides an overview of the CO3 project, details the adopted disruptive technologies (Blockchain, Augmented Reality, Civic social networks, Interactive Democracy, and Gamification), and explores their implementation in pilot projects across Athens, Paris, and Turin. The document emphasizes the positive and negative perceptions associated with these technologies and draws lessons from pilot experiences.

COLLABS will develop, validate, demonstrate, and support a comprehensive cyberintelligence framework for collaborative manufacturing, which enables the secure data exchange across the digital supply chain while providing high degree of resilience, reliability, accountability and trustworthiness, and addresses threat prevention, detection, mitigation, and real-time response.

COLLABS will achieve these goals by utilising state-of-the-art technologies and making significant scientific and technological advances in several key relevant domains, including secure multi-party computations and homomorphic encryption, distributed deep learning and anomaly detection, distributed ledger technologies (blockchain) and smart contracts, and distributed remote software attestation.

This document presents the final results of the COLLABS project's execution, focusing on the deployment, evaluation, and impact analysis of its cyber-intelligence framework. The framework addresses security needs in industrial use cases, demonstrating its capabilities through real-life industrial demonstrations. Key findings include high fulfillment of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), successful integration of Common Security Requirements (CSRs), and positive feedback from External Advisory Board (EAB) and workshops. The impact analysis highlights the framework's effectiveness in addressing security needs across various industrial scenarios, with recommendations for further development.

Given their historic emissions and economic capability, we analyze a leadership role for representative industrialized regions (EU, US, Japan, and Australia) in the global climate mitigation effort. Using the global integrated assessment model REMIND, we systematically compare region-specific mitigation strategies and challenges of reaching domestic net-zero carbon
emissions in 2050. Embarking from different emission profiles and trends, we find that all of the regions have technological options and mitigation strategies to reach carbon neutrality by 2050.

This report is a case study in the area of community-based research into financial resilience. It consists of an understanding of the enablers and barriers to financial resilience in a community and recommendations to those providing direct services to low-income households in said community - community groups, advice/support organisations, council support - and decision-makers at the local and national level.
