This document presents two tools integrated into the main GRIDFLEX tool addressed to Distribution System Operators (DSOs): the Grid planning tool and the Extreme Weather Event (EWE) resilience tool. The Grid planning tool evaluates the low-voltage network’s tendency to congestion in the future, with the increased number of distributed generation and higher load profiles due to electric vehicles and heat pumps penetration. The power flow simulations point out the weak areas in the network and the tool provides grid reinforcement and extension proposition. The EWE resilience tool evaluates the resilience of the distribution grid in case of extreme weather events, such as floods, high winds, and snow. Reconfiguration propositions aim at reducing the interruption time of the distribution grids and enhance their resilience.

This policy brief discusses the effectiveness of existing support policies and measures provided by different actors at different levels for young intra-EU migrants and returnees. It draws on the outcomes of the YMOBILITY project, which investigated the relationship between young-peoples’ transition from youth to adulthood and their mobility between EU Member States from an international and interdisciplinary perspective.

This document explores the crucial importance of digital skills, particularly among children and young people, emphasizing the unequal distribution and consequences of these skills. The ySKILLS project aims to provide evidence-based policy recommendations by investigating the antecedents, consequences, and policy implications of digital skills. The analysis spans various areas, including education, societal readiness, and the labor market, shedding light on the need for a coherent and sustainable policy framework.
