MED-GOLD - A handy easy-to-use manual for stakeholders and practitioners of the climate service tool. PART III: the durum wheat/pasta sector
The MED-GOLD project aims to co-design, co-develop, test, and assess proof-of-concept climate services for traditional Mediterranean food systems, specifically focusing on olive, grape, and durum wheat. It seeks to refine, validate, and upscale these pilot services with wider European and global user communities, ensuring replicability in other crops/climates and establishing links to global policy making. The ultimate goal is to provide added value for decision-making processes, enhance market uptake of climate services, and build better informed and connected end-user communities for the global olive oil, wine, and pasta food systems. The project attempts to develop comprehensive climate services and a manual to guide stakeholders and practitioners in utilizing these tools effectively.
