The MED-GOLD project aims to co-design, co-develop, test, and assess the added value of proof-of-concept climate services for olive, grape, and durum wheat. It seeks to refine, validate, and upscale the pilot services with the wider European and global user communities for these crops. The ultimate goal is to provide added value for the decision-making process, enhance market uptake of climate services, ensure replicability of methodological frameworks, and build better informed and connected end-user communities for the global olive oil, wine, and pasta food systems and related policy making. The project aims to develop user-friendly climate tools and a comprehensive communication and commercialization plan to promote the uptake of these climate services.

The conceptual framework therefore consists of three building blocks, which will be presented in subsequent sections: (1) the various narratives of marine ecosystem restoration, (2) different types of uncertainties related to marine ecosystem restoration and (3) types of governance arrangements.

To gain an explorative and comprehensive look at the problem, we conducted a qualitative analysis through local case studies on innovative housing projects intentionally pursuing integration’s goals. To this aim, we included into our analysis different typologies of housing, based on the new concept of living (intergenerational and or multicultural cohabitation), buildings forms (both the construction of new buildings and the requalification of existing facilities), their location both in city centres and in peripheral areas and dotation in public services (transportation, medical facilities, schools, social assistance, etc.).

This study examines the role of social policies in European welfare states, focusing on their capacity to manage poverty and inequality during economic shocks. This policy paper analyzes how public sector organizations in 11 EU Member States responded and adapted to the COVID-19 crisis. It evaluates their resilience using the Common Assessment Framework (CAF) model, a tool for assessing organizational operations and performance.

The MultiMind project aims to develop the MuLiMi platform, a screening assessment tool for language and reading disorders in bilingual children. The platform, designed by a multidisciplinary team, is intended to identify potential language and reading disorders in preschool and school-age children. Its outcome is a user-friendly interface that incorporates multimedia elements to create an engaging experience for young examinees, while also providing administrators with the ability to create, modify, and configure tests. This innovative tool is expected to contribute to the early identification and intervention of language and reading disorders in multilingual children.

The MUV project aims at engaging local communities in the co-design of new mobility solutions for their neighborhoods. By analyzing data collected from app users' routes, the project identifies areas in need of intervention and invites citizens, local organizations, and decision-makers to propose solutions. The project's purpose is to foster a collaborative approach to urban mobility and to provide evidence-based recommendations to local administrators for the improvement of city mobility policies. The project attempts to provide a series of recommendations for new mobility solutions to be implemented in each neighborhood, as well as efforts to contribute to the debate on mobility policies, particularly in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic.

This report investigates and reviews the current multi-risk governance practice in Europe. The Part 1 analyzes existing international and European policies and communications with regards to their consideration of key elements of multi-hazards and multi-risk. In Part 2, it aims to classify sectoral dependencies and provides guidelines for the sectoral representatives on how to identify and navigate multi-sector risk. Sectoral interdependencies are first classified through the lens of undisturbed conditions: functional, spatial, financial, and societal. To bridge the thematic scope between Parts 1 and 2, it's evident that the realization of a more holistic approach to risk management necessitates an in-depth understanding of sectoral
interdependencies. Following insights from Part 1, it became apparent that current governance practices, while touching upon multi-risks, lack a nuanced awareness of how cross-sectoral dynamics play out in real-world scenarios.

The NADINE project focuses on fostering collaboration between public and private entities to improve migrant integration and digital service access in the EU.

This document explores the findings and policy recommendations resulting from the NADINE project's year-long research on unemployment among Refugees, Asylum Seekers, and Vulnerable migrants (RAVs) in the EU. The study emphasizes the critical role of skills assessment in addressing the challenges faced by RAVs in integrating into the job market and proposes policy measures to bridge the gap between desired outcomes and actual results. The document also introduces the NADINE project's innovative approach, utilizing serious games and big-data technology for skills assessment, to contribute to reducing unemployment among RAVs.

This document contains the final policy brief for the NADINE project, task 10.2, deliverable 10.8. This includes an introduction to the research led by the NADINE team over the past year.

This paper proposes the creation of an international mechanism for creating collaborative partnerships between stakeholders such as scientists, NGOs, governments and foundations and the business community. The proposed mechanism Nature Resilience would initiate and organise 20 year, tailor-made Ecosystem Restoration Partnerships between companies and stakeholder groups, wherein the explicit goal would be the restoration of millions of hectares of land in cooperation with local people, farmers and NGOs, in a way that conforms with international established guidelines.

This report reviews the evidence which shows that, with properly designed measures, nature restoration actions can contribute to making farming systems more resilient and productive for the long run. It shows that a narrow focus on the amount of land under production is not an accurate measure of long-term production potential, and that addressing food availability implies factoring in the vulnerabilities linked to climate change and the costs of inaction.

The Nature4Cities project aims to develop nature-based solutions for re-naturing cities and to create a knowledge diffusion and decision support platform through new collaborative models. It tries to develop a climate resilience assessment methodology and climatic trend analysis to support municipalities in their decision-making processes. It provides a decision support guideline for climate resilience and nature-based solutions, which includes a questionnaire, a Yes/No matrix, and a collection of forms that provide information about the suggested methods and tools. The guideline has been validated through the performance of three case studies.

The Nature4Cities project aims to promote nature-based solutions for re-naturing cities. The project offers a knowledge diffusion and decision support platform through new collaborative models. The purpose of the project is to develop a typology of implementation models by identifying the barriers and drivers of these models. The outcome of the project is a comprehensive report that identifies and characterizes different governance models, financing mechanisms, business models, and management strategies for implementing nature-based solutions in European cities.

The NATURVATION project aims to assess the potential of nature-based solutions for meeting urban sustainability goals. It provides effective governance solutions for urban nature, by identifying and supporting those governance approaches that work for nature-based solutions, and by recognizing the vital roles of governments, citizens, civil society groups, and businesses in implementing these solutions. It attempts to provide a comprehensive guide that features a rich set of validated approaches that will help us develop and implement governance strategies targeted at nature-based solutions; emphasize partnership structures; and integrate technical knowledge and social sciences.
